before being turned into a vampire, minnie lived a life of luxury. her father doted on her endlessly and she was easily the prettiest girl in the county. she was adored by all and certainly had many suitors knocking on her door. that part of her story, however, is quite boring and fairy tale like in its perfectness. the interesting part started on a warm summer night when she was twenty-two. while it was usually custom for a man to escort a lady anywhere she was going, especially at night, minnie had thrown a fit about a minor detail in her upcoming wedding and stomped out the door. after walking for a good bit, a man attacked her. except it wasn't a man. it was a vampire. he dragged her off to the woods to feed from, drained her dry, gave her a spot of his own blood before apologizing and saying he hoped she survived. and she did. she was strong willed and held up through the sheer agony. after that, she moved around from city to city, constantly thirsting for blood and hiding in the shadows. until she discovered a group of people like herself and has stuck with them ever since. the exiles.
miss minnie is quite the character. whenever she sets her mind to something, she accomplishes it no matter the cost. being spoiled as a child, she always expects to get what she wants. she is almost infuriatingly stubborn in some matters. while she is a vampire, she stills cares very deeply about the people that she lets close to her, which are very few. she is vain and unafraid to use her good looks to manipulate people into doing what she wants. she is no leader, however, and considers herself loyal to the people she follows. she gets along with most people who don't annoy her and only whips out her attitude when challenged.
it was only recently that she learned of the civilization run by vampires like herself. apparently many were rich and she cannot help but envy them. she desperately wants to go to the city and back to the glamorous life she once knew.
