Nathan Avery is his father almost 100%. He is manipulative, selfish, corrupt all in one. He worked hard to get to where he is, leader of the high rollers. He always wanted the best, the finest, of everything the world had to offer. So when he was turned, he knew he would only have the best blood. He worked his way to the top, gaining followers as he went with his brother William at his side.

Nathan and will were always close when they were younger. Nathan looked up to Will immensly. However, when it came to being rich, drinking pure blood, and letting others go thirsty, the two differed more than ever. Nathan was forced to exile his own brother. He still hates that he had to do that but if he hadn't, many of his people would be dead now. He does what he can for them even if it does seem like he is only doing it for himself. He simply is not prone to show much emotion except to a certain few.
