William raised his eyebrow slowly and resisted the fierce urge to click his tongue in annoyance. Here he was, two hundred and twenty one years old, being preached to by who could only be described as a pre-pubescent child. Perhaps he wasn’t that young but the things the so called ‘psychologist’ was saying was nothing short of bullshit… not that right now Will would say that. No, of course not. For at that moment in time, William Avery was back within the non-exiled city walls alongside his oh-so-wonderful brother, Nathan. Naturally, everyone believed the elder brother was finally returning to his correct place but it was just simply the best kept secret he’d had. The simple phrase of ‘if you want something kept secret, keep it to yourself’ spun around his head serving as a reminder. William had been slowly stealing and exporting small consistent batches of blood out to his brothers and friends in the outskirts of the city. It wouldn’t be too long before he pulled off the greatest heist of blood ever. For the moment, however, he had to keep up this enjoyable façade of a returning brother and high roller in the city. Unfortunately, that also meant having to agree to suffer through frequent psychology analysis since he’d apparently gotten ‘crazier’ from the blood loss over his years as an exile. Clearly they didn’t know him well beforehand. He’d always be somewhat unstable but that’s why he was at the top of his group… he was ruthless when he needed to be and right now, those thoughts were running through his head. A little snap of the neck here. A little bite there. It would all be over with. Even his fangs started to extend at it and his upper lip curled a bit, his eyes unmoving from the vampire in front of him.
“Perhaps I could tell you about my parents? About my father?” William said dryly, still failing to blink but a simple tilt of the head personified how he was feeling. ”That would be a great start.” The vampire responded, enthusiastically. Will leant forward and gestured the other man closer, as if revealing a secret. ”You know… I’d rather shit in my hands and clap.” Smirking at the ridiculous face he was greeted with, William stood tall and kicked his chair back. He was done… and hungry. ”Food time!” Almost with an extroverted little skip to leave the room, Will started humming some classical music, doing a little spin to turn the corner and coming face to face with an individual he didn’t recognise. A human, he could smell it.
”Well, haven’t you drawn the short st- no. I cannot say that. Do you know why?” William almost seemed to be speaking to himself and the lady merely shook her head, terrified. “Because, my dear, that is what we call a cliché. Typically, also a metaphor since you haven’t literally drawn a straw and so in hindsight, actually would have given you some odds to survive… unlike now!” Before she had time to gasp, William had sunk his teeth into her neck and devouring her life source. It wasn’t the best blood… that title belonged to the Williams siblings thus far. Will didn’t stop when he felt the girl getting colder beneath him, draining her dry before ripping his fangs out and letting her drop, dead, to the ground. Wiping his hands off and licking his lips, William stood over the body with a light jump.
Glancing down at his stained red front, William sighed and rolled his eyes dramatically. ”Humans are so disgustingly messy.” Licking his fingers, he used extra speed to grab a vampire walking past and tugged at his shirt. ”Give me this.” It was funny to see the man scramble and switch clothes with him, purely out of fear. ”Thank you! I’m sure your trees will blossom in your back yard now.” Smiling to himself deep in thought for a moment, Will missed the look of confusion on the guys face before a new scent perked up his refreshed senses. ”Nathan! Esteemed leader.” Rolling his hand forward, Will bowed slightly though it clearly wasn’t serious. He didn’t bow for anyone. A moment later and he was stood straight once more. ”Have you missed me!?” He said with a smirk wide on his face. He tilted his head out of habit as his brother spoke about being hasty with the blood on offer, probably because there was a body no more than three feet behind him. ”If you didn’t send me to a crazy doctor, I wouldn’t have to wait for blood so often.” William quirked an eyebrow and licked his lips once more to check there was no more blood left. ”Well then, if there is so much blood on offer, show me to it.” Of course he already knew where it was. Or even, where it should have been since the supply had been greatly diminished by William distributing it to the Exiles earlier that day. ”Perhaps we could get one of the Williams siblings to make an appearance soon… I quite enjoyed that taste, little brother.” Smirking, he smoothed his hair down and began walking alongside Nathan. Even he couldn’t describe his excitement at seeing his brother’s face at the lack of blood supply in the one place.

Nathan tapped his pen on his desk a few times in thought. He had a lot of paper work to do, really. He kept close note of everything that went on with his people. He had to. He ran things the way he wanted to and he had to know what was going on or else he'd lose control. He also kept close track of blood supply. Every week he took inventory. Every week he added new pure blood and distributed what those had earned. He also took stock of the club's blood. He ran the club like he ran the High Rollers. He wasn't about to lose money or blood for any reason what so ever. He had noticed his inventory count of blood had been off the past two weeks but it wasn't by much and he wasn't fretting over it too bad. He was sure Kayde had simply distributed some and hadn't written it down. Either that or William had been helping himself as Nathan had told him to do. Will had been back for a few weeks now and honestly, Nathan was happy. He had always looked up to his older brother. They had built the High Roller society together. They had accomplished so much in the little time they had run the scene together. It was a sad day when William forced Nathan into exiling him. He still didn't like to think about it.
That was all over now though. Will was finally back. Nathan must have gotten through to him. He had tried many times to explain to him that the exiles was not where Will was supposed to be. Yes his brother was a bit... excentric... But it had always been that way. It had simply gotten a bit worse as he went without blood. Nathan had told him that denying himself of blood and the riches they were entitled to was not the life he was destined to live! It only took a few decades for Will to realize that Nate was right, but at least he had. Of course, not many of his people were as happy as he was about William coming back. A lot of them had been around when Will asked to be exiled, and when not getting what he wanted, had taken matters into his own hands. Will killed two of the high roller community before Nathan gave him what he wanted. People hadn't forgotten that. So, to calm everyone down and ensure it didn't happen again, Nathan sent Will to a therapist. Yes, he knew Will hated it. However, he needed to make sure his people felt safe and that it wouldn't happen again. So he hoped. Speaking of Will and the therapist, Nathan glanced at his watch realizing Will was probably over it by now. He should probably get to the office before Will caused some trouble out of sheer boredom.
By the time he got there, though, he realized he was a little late. He strode over to where William was standing, obviously full from the breather laying on the floor a few feet away. He would seem mad, but how could he be? That's what breathers were for. They were no longer at the top of the food chain and those who were needed to feed. So a smirk crawled onto his face and stayed as his brother noticed he were there. "Now, brother. No need to feed here. You know there is plenty of blood on hand back at the club." He raised a brow at his response and chuckled softly. "Oh? If I recall you fed before you left as well." It wasn't a disapproving tone by any means. Will had gone so long without blood on the regular. Any vampire who had gone through that would jump at any chance they had to get blood. Nathan was sure that when they got back Will would drink more as well. That explained why his supply was running a bit lower. He needed to send Kayde and some hunters out to gather more.
He was brought back out of his blood thoughts by Will speaking of calling on the Williams for more blood. That answered his thought of if Will would drink again once they got back. Nathan nodded almost absentmindedly. "We could call on them. Or, we could see if any of my hunters found something last night at the club?" Nathan smirked. "It was a busy night last night, you know." This was his favorite. Fresh meat. Fresh pure meat. Teenagers just loved his club. So he kept his hunters on hand every night. They would lure the pures back and then keep them in a holding cell over night. Nathan would inspect them the next morning. He would either take a few bags and let them go or, if they were very pure, take everything. Evil? Maybe. But like said, it's a dog eat dog world and he was on top. "What do you say, William?"
